Gunsmoke Paintball is the premier paintball expereince in Essex and Suffolk. Ideally situated in Hadleigh, Suffolk just 15 minutes on the A12 from Colchester, Essex and only 20 minutes from Ipswich, Suffolk. Catering for players of all abilities, whatever the occasion (stag weekends, hen parties, corporate entertainment, team building, or birthdays) we have the perfect package to suit everyone. Our Mission

We aim to offer you the best paintballing experience in the area, as well as being the cheapest on paintball prices, we don’t use rubbish paint, only the best site paint is bought and sold. Our equipment is serviced on a regular basis and kept to the highest of standards. Gunsmoke Paintball Ipswich is a UKPSF (UK Paintball Sports Federation) Accredited Venue and Suffolk Council approved for Schools. We are fully insured and have a 100% safety record.

Play Paintball

Have an enjoyable day paintballing with your friends or co-workers which won’t break the bank. We cater for large and small groups. Individuals are welcome too so if you don’t have a group to go with we can always accommodate you.

Younger players (over 12 years old) are also welcome with parental permission. If you want to organise a paintball party or just come along and play in a small group, Gunsmoke Paintball is the place for you. For more details visit our page for Younger Players.

We supply you with everything you need to play and give you the option to purchase pyrotechnics, smoke and paint
grenades to add that extra bit of realism to your experience.

1st Sunday of each month is walk ons day, ideal for teams and individuals with their own equipment. For more details for Walk On days please visit our Walk Ons page.

Gunsmoke Paintball is fully insured and our marshals are highly experienced. We believe that we are the cheapest site in the area by some margin.

Our Game Zones

Gunsmoke Paintball Ipswich Suffolk is an extreme paintball site with a variety of fields for your paintballing pleasure.

The site is built on 36 acres of farm land, we have 4 game zones to test your wits, the games zones are close to the safe zone, so you don’t have to walk miles to play your games, ONLY 4 game zones I hear you say, we are not the biggest paintball site in the area, but biggest is not always the best! We aim to give you the best service we can, we are a smaller family run site, but this gives us advantage over others as we can interact more with our customers, and our game zones have been made to test your game play to a maximum.

GAME 1 - CRASH

Retrieve the vital surveillance software and secure the crash site…but be quick the enemy wants this too!

A helicopter carrying the latest surveillance software has crashed deep in enemy territory, one team has to place a bomb inside it to avoid the software being captured by the enemy, the other team has to disarm the bomb and annihilate the other team to get the software back to base, sound easy ? not when the bomb is ticking and you have to disarm it under fire from the enemy.

GAME 2 - VILLAGE UNDER SIEGE

Hold on to your flags as the enemy will attack from all sides.

Surrounded by the enemy from all sides, can you hold out from being overrun and losing the strong hold of the village game, you will be attacked from the trench line, the tree line and the bunkers around the village, can you survive the village, and hold on to your flags.

GAME 3 RATRUN

Fast and furious paintballing mexican stand-off style!

Over 70 1000 litre plastic drums spread out in a big valley, nothing else to hide behind, its fast and furious, total annihilation of the other team, lots of angles to watch out for, high ground looks good, but the low ground offers more cover, where will you go.

GAME 4 AIRFIELD

Can you stop the opposition taking the airfield?

Fight it out in between the massive real helicopter and the 4 real jet planes, use the tombstones and tyres to wipe out the other time, long grass to sniper from, not as easy as it looks, watch out for the enemy fire they can reach you from the start keep your head down and get to cover.

GAME 5 DUEL (NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED)

Get to the chopper…and hit the buzzer to score the points!

This is the hardest game at Gunsmoke, it will take team work to beat the other team, and lots and lots of guts, if you don’t push forward you will lose ground, if you lose ground you will lose the buzzer, object of the game, we open up the whole woods, each team starts at either end, teams have to make it to the helicopter, on the helicopter are two lights and two red buttons, you have to hit the buttons to score point, but be aware the other team is trying to do the same thing, who can score the most time on DUEL.
